Let the music set you free with our limited edition art print featuring the captivating moment Christine is drawn to her mysterious singing tutor, the Phantom of the Opera, in the entrancing song ‘Angel of Music’. Inspired by the original London production of Phantom of the Opera, this design captures an iconic scene from the West End’s most haunting love story.
‘BEHIND THE DESIGN’
In this reimagined scene, the Phantom calls to Christine from within the mirror of her dressing room, commending his protégé on her triumphant first performance as the new star of the Opera Populaire. The opulent frame surrounding the illustration is inspired by the theatrical set and sculptural ornamentation of Phantom of the Opera production (designed by Maria Björnson), featuring the grand theatre box specifically reserved for the Opera Ghost’s exclusive use, Box 5. As flamboyant masks from the masquerade ball and a single red rose lie at the base of the frame, the shadow of the Phantom stalks the grand staircase of the opera house and the voluptuous curtains set the stage for the gothic romance to unfold.
'Angel of music, hide no longer,
Come to me, strange angel'
